On Saturday morning the Limerick Spiegeltent will be transformed into a children’s centre of rhythm. Drum Dance Ireland, the country’s leading drum circle extraordinaires will delight young audiences with their unique style of musical fun. All instruments are provided but bring your own if you wish! Mum and Dad are guaranteed to have fun too! An ideal bank holiday family-friendly treat in the heart of Limerick city.
WORLD CHIP CHAMPIONSHIPS
From 12 noon to 4pm
Saturday afternoon sees the World Chip Championships taking place in Limerick to find the best-tasting chip on the planet! This will be an open contest to professional cooks with a passion for the frite, each hoping to cut the mustard and take home the title.
PRINTER CLIPS – Paul Noonan & Gemma Hayes

Paul Noonan (Bell X1) and Gemma Hayes will perform live in the Spiegeltent for a very rare and special Irish date. Paul has handpicked only a selection of Irish dates to perform his first solo project, including 2 sold out shows in Dublin’s Vicar Street and the National Concert Hall.
CABARET DES FRITES
Doors: 10pm
Well-known Limerick performers Jean McGlynn, Jessica Bray, Liam O’Brien and Ian McGlynn will produce a brand new production entitled ‘Cabaret des Frites’. Along with a team of burlesque dancers and seasoned musicians this Bank Holiday event is a must for Limerick audiences. And of course – there will be chips!
